「New Year's Day」

１月１日　正月だぞ

↑Happy New Year! I wish you a great year in 2015.

  あけましておめでとうございます。新年がすごい年となりますように。

↑At the beginning of the New Year, I went to worship at a temple and

  新年早々、お寺と

 

↑shrine.

  神社へお参りに行きました。

 

↑It was the first day of the year so I went skiing as usual.

  元旦なのでいつも通りスキーに行きました。

↑On the way I saw the first sunrise of the year from the lake Suwa.

  途中、諏訪湖から初日の出を見ました。

 

↑Snowfall continued all day long so…

  一日中雪が降っていたので、

 

↑I had to shovel snow a lot.

  雪かきをたくさんしなければなりませんでした。

↑Anyway, I enjoyed the first ski this year.

  とにかく今年初スキーを楽しみました。

 

 

↑On the way back, I visited Suwa shrine and

  帰りに諏訪大社に行き

 

↑took a written fortune. Although the written fortune means so so.

  おみくじを引きました。結果は中吉でしたが、

↑something special must happen this year.

  特別なことが起こるに違いない！
