１月３１日　冬の植物だぞ

 

↑At science class, we went out to look for a plant, but it was very hard to find out because school grounds are covered with snow and it’s very cold now.

理科の授業で植物を探しに行きました。でもとても寒くて、校庭は雪で覆われているので、見つけるのが大変でした。

 

↑Only a small plant can take root now.

小さい植物だけが根を張っています。

 

↑Buds of cherry trees are waiting for spring.

つぼみは春を待っています。

 

↑School grounds in Nagano become very muddy and pegs we come off naturally when snow melts. It can’t be helped.

雪解けの時、長野県の校庭はべちゃべちゃになり、打ったポイントは抜けてきます。しかたありません。

 

↑My students are vigorous as usual.

子ども達は相変わらず元気です。

 

↑Lately, 3 or 4 students get my special abacus certificate every day. Now, 13 of my students have the certificate. Maybe soon, all of them get it.

 最近、１日３，４人が賞状を手に入れており、今１３人の子ども達が賞状を持っています。多分すぐに全員もらうことになります。

↑Cup and ball is popular now in my class. By the way, all of my students are wearing a mask because the flu is prevalent in my school.

剣玉が流行っています。ところで子ども達全員がマスクをしています。学校でインフルエンザが流行っているからです。

 

↑At the last day for school visitation, we are supposed to use the students’ pictures to say thank you to their parents. A lot of students submitted a great many pictures to me. I processed 63 files, 581 pictures. Thanks to the software “Adobe Photoshop , action function” I managed to finished it in 2 hours.

最後の参観日で２分の１成人式というのをやり、両親にありがとうを言う為に写真を使うことになっています。たくさんの子ども達が大量の写真を持ってきました。６３ファイル、５８１枚の画像を処理しました。でもAdobe Photoshopのアクション機能のお陰で２時間で終えることができました。さすが元印刷会社勤務で工場に配属され、画像処理能力を何一つ発揮できなかった男です！

 プール・噴水・雪山。なかなかいけてるコラボだと思いません？？

 

↑We did a long jumping rope. Our condition is pretty good.

　長なわとびをしました。調子はとても良いです。

 

↑My new car audio has an USB function.

　新しい車載オーディオはUSB機能付です。

 

↑I had not eaten the ice cream “Viennetta” since I moved to Nagano in 1998, but I ate it twice lately. I am starting to like it again.

　ビエネッタを１９９８年に長野に引越して来てから食べていませんでした。でも最近2回食べました。また好きになりつつあります。

↑In the morning, I found a footprint of a cat. I remembered Neko-chan in Tonga.

　朝、ネコの足跡を見つけました。トンガのNekoちゃんを思い出しました。

 

↑Although it was very fine today…

 とても天気が良かったのですが・・・

 

↑I had to give a lesson to kids and hold an official approval for adults.

 講習と検定をしなければなりませんでした。

 

↑At last, the old man, who has continued taking the exam more than 5 years, passed the level 1. Congratulations! The job, which evaluates person, is very hard for me.

　遂に、5年以上試験を受け続けているおっちゃんが１級を合格しました。おめでとうございます。人を評価する仕事とは辛いものです・・・。

 

↑On the way back, I visited my car dealer. Because the mending had not finished, I went to the Chinese noodles restaurant. It’s a branch of my favorite restaurant in Azumino city.

　帰り道に車屋さんに寄りました。修理がまだ完了していなかったので、ラーメン屋に行きました。安曇野市にあるお気に入りのラーメン屋の支店のようです。

↑It was snowing all day long.

一日中雪が降っておりました。

 

↑At Kashimayari, I enjoyed deep and fresh snow a lot.

 鹿島槍で深雪・新雪を楽しみました。

 

↑After ski, I found that the snow was more than 15 cm deep in 6 hours.

 スキーの後、６時間の積雪が１５ｃｍ以上だと分かりました。

 

↑Tomorrow, I will change the car audio.

 明日、車のオーディオを交換します。

 

↑After ski, I made the abacus certificates for my kids. All of them can get the first one easily.

　スキーの後、子ども達のそろばん賞状を作りました。大阪弁はあえてコテコテにしてみました。ネイティブチェックをお願いします。

 

↑Though I went to school to send a fax to the Jiigatake skiing ground, where next month we will go as a ski class, I couldn’t do it because of a lot of mistakes…oh man!

　来月スキー教室で行く爺ヶ岳スキー場へfaxを送りに学校へ行ったのですが、たくさんの間違いのお陰で送れませんでした。あちゃー

↑We can enjoy a snowball fight every day. My right shoulder is aching…

　毎日雪合戦が楽しめます。右肩が震えております。中学時代野球を続けていても壊れなかった右腕が今頃きたか・・・？

↑I’m teaching an abacus eagerly now. Thanks to Sefo, who was my counterpart in Tonga, I will be able to complete the multilingual certificate soon.

　そろばんを気合入れて教えております。トンガのカウンターパートだったSefoさんのお陰で、もうすぐ4ヶ国語のそろばん賞状が完成すると思われます。英語・トンガ語・日本語・大阪弁です。

↑We are practicing a play in English. The theme is some of famous ancient stories. Stick it out!

　英語劇の練習をしています。テーマはいくつかの日本の昔話です。桃太郎、浦島太郎、したきり雀、かさ地蔵、花さかじいさん、カチカチ山です。がんばりましょう！

↑After school, I broke and dropped a lot of long icicles. I remembered my part time job, which I belonged to when I was in my university. I did it in the Misayama tunnel. The payment by the hour was US$70. Maybe because the job was dangerous and was very cold.

　放課後つららを落としました。学生時代、三才山トンネルでつらら落としバイトをしていた頃を思い出しました。時給6,000円でした。たぶん危なくて、めっちゃくちゃ寒かったからでしょう。

20th Jan. Training トレーニングだぞ

１月２０日　トレーニングだぞ

 

↑I went to Hakuba Sanosaka skiing ground with Mr. Namiki, who has the level 1 license. We taped our ski a lot.

　１級取得者のNamikiさんとスキーに行きました。たくさんスキー動画を録画しました。

 

↑Our warming up was a mogul course, because he is good at skiing.

　ウォームアップはモーグルバーンです笑。Namikiさんは上手なので。

 

↑The skiing ground was very crowded today. Now it’s high season now.

　さのさかはとても混んでいました。今が繁忙期です。

 

↑Sanosaka is not so high but we can see the beautiful sceneries.

　さのさかはそんなに高くないですが、きれいな景色が見れます。

 

↑Around noon, he went back to Azumino to participate in a jogging club so I moved to Kashimayari skiing ground.

　お昼頃Namikiさんがジョギングクラブ参加の為に帰ったので、鹿島槍へ移動しました。
