↑It was fine today.

　晴れておりました。

 

↑I was the last athletic meet of my track & field club. My students were doing well.

　最後の陸上大会でした。子ども達はよくやっておりました。

23rd Jun. Omelet with Fried rice

６月２３日　オムライスだぞ

 

↑I went to Matsumoto city along the Jikkaseki weir.

　拾ヶ堰にそって松本へ行きました。

 

↑I visited a handicraft shop to get a bell for the world’s smallest YAMANEKO, but I couldn’t get it. Maybe there is not such a small bell.

　手芸店に行きました。世界最小山ネコの鈴を買うためです。でも買えませんでした。多分、そんな小さな鈴はないのです。

 

↑I bought these beads instead.

　代わりにビーズを買いました。

 

↑On the way back, I visited “Utonpo” restaurant. I used to come here almost every week, when I first came to Nagano in 1998. The apartment, which I lived, is next to Utonpo restaurant.

　帰り道に「うとんぽ」食堂に行きました。１９９８年はじめて長野県に来た時には、ほぼ毎週来ておりました。当時住んでいたアパートがこのレストランの隣にありますので。

 

↑A popular menu of this restaurant is an omelet containing fried rice.

　人気のメニューはオムライスです。

22nd Jun. Childbirth Edition YAMANEKO

「Childbirth Edition YAMANEKO」

６月２２日　山ネコ出産バージョンだぞ

 

↑I gave No. 358 YAMANEKO to Yuuki who is a student teacher and has finished his role today.

　山ネコNo.３５８をYuuki先生にあげました。彼は教育実習生で、全日程を今日終えました。

 

↑Thank you for your trouble over the last 4 weeks. I hope you pass the exam and become a good teacher soon.

　４週間お疲れ様でした。すぐに教員採用試験に合格して、現場へ戻ってくることを願います。

 

↑After school, I gave No. 356 and 357 YAMANEKOs to Ayaka, who is supposed to take a leave for childbirth. We belonged to the same grade students (grade 6), before Tonga.

　山ネコNo.３５６とＮｏ．３５７をAyaka先生に渡しました。赤ちゃんを産むためにお休みに入ります。トンガの前、同じ６年生に所属していました。

 

↑Have a good childbirth and make a happy family.

　元気な赤ちゃんを出産して、幸せな家庭を作ってください。

21st Jun. My Occupation

「My Occupation」

６月２１日　職業だぞ

 

↑I had to work apart from my class, because I participated in the meeting which 5-year teachers have to attend.

　クラスから離れて仕事をしなければなりませんでした。５年目の先生達が参加しなければならない会議があったからです。

 

↑Around noon, after a long time away I visited the Chinese noodles restaurant “Ryouga” in Shiojiri city with Shouzaburou. He used to work in Azumino, (now in Omachi city) and some of my students is taught by him in 2009 and 2010. Though I often go to Ryouga in Azumino city, it’s my second time to come here.

　お昼頃、凌駕の塩尻店にShouzaburou先生と行きました。彼は大町にいますが、以前はAzuminoにおりTorojiroクラスの何人かの子ども達は２００９年と２０１０年に彼に教わりました。安曇野の凌駕にはよく来ますが、ここは久し振りです

 

　After the business trip, I participated in the meeting of PTA. I am the chief of one of PTA sections.

　出張の後、PTA会議に出席しました。PTAの一部会の主任を務めておりますので・・・。

 

↑After the PTA meeting, At last I came to my classroom. I couldn’t meet my students, and I came enter my room after 9 o’clock PM.

 What’s my job? Security guard?

　ＰＴＡ会議の後、遂に教室に来ました。子ども達に会えず、教室に入ったのは夜の９時以降です。Torojiro先生の職業は何なの？ガードマンかいねぇ？？

20th Jun. Fusion

６月２０日　融合だぞ

 

↑A new hairstyle of YAMANEKO.

　山ネコのあたらしい髪型？！

 

↑Fusion with the earth.

　大地との融合？！

 

↑We started a swimming class.

　水泳授業を始めました。

 

↑We enjoyed a mock cavalry battle. Today I only taught how to make cavalry.

　騎馬戦をやりました。今日はどうやって騎馬を作るか教えただけです。

18th Jun. Prayer For Safety

「Prayer For Safety」

６月１８日　安全祈願だぞ

 

↑I dusted a swimming pool with salt. This is the way of a prayer for safety in Japan.

　プールに塩をまきました。これが日本の安全祈願です。

17th Jun. Bicycle

「Bicycle」

６月１７日　自転車だぞ

 

↑I cheered my students who belong to a bicycle club.

　自転車部の子ども達を応援しました。

 

↑They won the prize and are supposed to go to the next competition. Congratulations!

　次の大会へ勝ち進みました。おめでとうございます。

 

  

↑Following that, I went for an aggressive walking to Omachi city. We still have the beautiful snow mountains.

　その後、大町市まで攻撃的散歩に出かけました。まだキレイな雪山が見れます。

 

↑Oh!!!! 30℃. Yet, I don’t feel hot, Tongan sunshine was much stronger than Japanese one.

 お～３０度ですか～。でもそんなに暑さを感じません。トンガの日差しはもっと強烈でした。

 

↑At dinner, I made takoyaki (an octopus ball cake). My takoyaki skill is improving.

  たこ焼きを作りました。だんだん上手になっております。

16th Jun. Almost Completed

６月１６日　ほぼ完成だぞ

 

↑After I ate pork & kimchee…

　豚キムチを食べた後・・・

 

↑I’ve almost completed these special edition YAMANEKO-KOs. I need to dry them up.

　特別バージョン山ネコ子をほぼ完成させました。

 

↑How small and cute the baby is!

　赤ちゃん山ネコは小さくてかわいいです～。

15th Jun. Poem & Swimming Pool

６月１５日　詩とプールだぞ

 

↑We learned the poem, “Tsuchi” written by Tatsuji Miyoshi, as Japanese class. We practiced how to use an expression of a metaphor.

　三好達治さんの「土」でどのように比喩表現を使うか勉強しました。

 

↑Our swimming pool is ready!

　プールは準備完了！

 

↑I have to replenish this chemical products, which keeps water clean, at least every 3 days.

　このプールをキレイにしてくれている薬品を最低３日に１回は補充しなければなりません。

  

 

↑To do a swimming class, we need more than 22 ℃.

　プール授業を行うために２２度以上必要です。

 

↑I may have a lot of things to do.

　たくさんやることがあるかも知れません。
